My halloween pet-peeve

I'm just grumpy tonight, so I'm going to write about my least favorite Halloween tradition in my neighborhood. Every year someone starts a Halloween Phantom thing. You tape this picture of a ghost to your door and a treat to two neighbors. They are to copy the picture and give it to two more. The idea of it is good, but it seems to take a different turn with my neighbors. It is always the same people, in the same group. They never seem to take the treats to people who really need them. I can see why people feel like they don't fit in or aren't included. I have a real problem with exclusive groups or activities. Needless to say, we didn't get a Halloween Phantom at our house. And that is usually the case. Oh well, maybe I should take treats to all of neighbors who didn't get the stupid phantom and I then I would feel better!
